My husband has a habit of skimming from the top of money given to my son. He said his parents did it to him (remember the blogs on how your money experiences shape you).

On his first beach trip my son did the traditional things, he chased the water as it flows in and out. He built sandcastles and just generally ran around like crazy.

These are a collection of short stories that I was told when I asked various people the question, “tell me about experiences that shaped your views about money”.

Below are two personal stories that shaped my experience with money and still to this day I have a strong recollection of these events happening:
