My career has always been in the financial industry and I have accumulated 18 years of experience. I have many prestigious financial designations including the following, Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP®), Certified Divorce Financial Analyst (CDFA®) and Accredited Estate Planner (AEP®). I am currently the Director of Financial Planning at Hightower Bethesda

I received a Finance degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, Smith School of Business. I have always been entrepreneurial and while at UMD participated in an Entrepreneurship program. On my bucket list were two things (1) write a book (Kai Makes Money) and (2) start a business. Good Money Kids has enabled me to do both!

I am married and have two beautiful children. I have been a proud reader of children’s books for 5 years and look forward to many more years of cuddling with my cuties and expanding their knowledge through books. I have always heard one of the best things you can do for your children is read to them and I have to say I agree!
